David Dwyers' custom IRC39 won the competitive IRC0 class at Cork Week and was named joint Boat of the Week for the huge biennial event. Dwyer had already been named the Afloat June Sailor of the Month for his successes this year.

Mike Bartholomews Summit 40 Tokoloshe won the Royal Southern Yacht Club's July Regatta in IRC 1, besting a number of other future Commodores Cup competitors.

David Dwyers IRC39 MarinersCove.ie won Class 1 and retained her Overall RORC UK IRC National Championship Title after three days of close racing in the Solent.  Middle boat in the 2010 Irish Commodores Cup team the Vision Yachts-built Mariners Cove strode to victory counting only firsts and seconds in the 8 race series. 

The custom IRC 43 of John Cooper straight-bulleted the IRC 3 class in the 156th annual New York YC Regatta. The Vision Yachts built beauty swept the second-largest fleet in this event, first run in 1845.

The Summit 35 Act One won the NYYC Around the Island Race in IRC 4, the 40' fleet. They were the smallest boat in the class yet third to finish boat for boat, correcting over four minutes ahead of the second place finisher.

The Mills 68 Alegre was unstoppable at the Rolex Capri Sailing Week, taking a clean sweep of all six races in the IMA Mini-Maxi class. Assisted by Francesco de Angelis on tactics this extends her sequence of continuous race wins to span two events after her Regate Pirelli victory earlier this month.

Japans leading IRC boat the Summit 40 Karasu won the 60th Oshima race from a strong 16 boat fleet. In breeze from 2-16 knots over the daylong race Team Karasu continued their successful run of results.

Dan Woolery’s Summit 40 Soozal continued her run of strong IRC performances by winning the 2010 Stone Cup counting straight firsts. Run in cool but breezy San Francisco cityfront conditions, her 4 point total was almost a third of the second place finisher.

Landmark 43-001 won the Dubai Offshore Sailing Club's season-long series for the Commodores Cup. With 12 wins in 16 races held from Sept' 09 to April '10 she proved her oustanding strength in a wide variety of conditions.

Karasu the Summit 40 won the 3 day Sagami Bay Big Boat Regatta. With three firsts from 5 inshore races and a coastal in very mixed conditions her ongoing success in IRC racing in Japan against good IRC opposition is significant.

Andy Soriano's IRC 68 Alegre won the Copa Pirelli in Portofino with straight firsts. Besting a mixed IRC fleet across a range of wind a sea conditions with a package of upgrades the owner reported "very pleased how Alegre went in the chop and 12-15 knots".

Andy Soriano steered his 68’ Mini-Maxi Alegre to victory in the IMA Mini-Maxi class at Hublot Palmavela, the first regatta of the Owner-Driver IMA season in the Mediterranean. Alegre upgraded her Hall Spars rig and rigging and added a new deeper keel to compete against some of the best competition in the world in 2010.

The Summit 40 White Heat won Racing B Class in the BVI Spring Series by 6 points with two bullets on the last day and four overall. Owner Mike Williamson summed it up: "White Heat's performance both upwind and down was awesome"

The Landmark 43 Windpower owned by Phil Gutsche won Cape Town Sailing Week 2010, and was crowned South African IRC Champion. Discarding a pair of podium finishes to take the title from a strong fleet over two weekends, she scored five firsts in the eight race series.

Canute the Summit 40 of Peter Horn won IRC 2 at Australia's largest sailing event, Audi Victoria Week in Geelong. Peter brought his new boat south from Sydney for her first major IRC event “Being a new boat, you don’t know how you will go, but I never dreamed Canute would be this good.”

Mike Williamson’s Summit 40 White Heat triumphed in a very closely fought IRC Class 2 at Key West Race Week. She showed consistency in the predominantly light and medium conditions to win the event with a race to spare.

Summit 35 01 ‘Act One’ owned by Charlie Milligan and Tom Roche won her debut event, the 53rd annual Wirth Munroe Yacht Race by six minutes on corrected time. The IRC 36 of Charlie Frize won the Clyde Cruising Club's Offshore Championship 2009 comprising their 4 most significant offshore races, reflecting a strong season in which she counted only firsts and seconds.

The Landmark 43 helmed by promoter Claus Landmark and owner Dag Skarsgard with a Norwegian crew won the 17th Dubai-Muscat Offshore Race. This 350 mile race from Dubai through the straits of Hormuz to Muscat in Oman is a major fixture in the Gulf calendar.

King 40 02 owned by Mike Williamson fought a closely contested Storm Trysail Club IRC East Coast Championships in Annapolis to win class 3, in conditions ranging from 7 to 23 kts. Remarkably White Heat missed taking the overall title for the event by only three seconds.

Eamonn Rohan’s King 40 won the 10 race Autumn Regatta run by the Royal Cork Yacht Club over five weekends. The early warmup series for Irish 2010 Commodores Cup team contenders produced a Mills podium with Mariners Cove in second and Tiamat in third.

The eponymous MAT 12 of Alp and Cem Somer won the 20th Marmaris Race Week with all 1sts and 2nds to finish with half the score of the second placed finisher.

the DK46 of Massimo Migliuolo won Spains premier Regatta, the Copa Del Rey in Palma, Mallorca. In a fleet of 43 entries including Doreste and Campos, Garmin established a 13 point lead over twelve races to take the title with another bullet in the final race.

Allan Hogg’s King 40 won a close Volvo Dun Laoghaire Regatta after 4 days of close racing in a mix of conditions and courses, counting a 1,1,2,3 to take the IRC 0. Having won 5 of the 6 events they have entered this year the Scottish Series and Scottish IRC winners were also presented with an award for ‘Best Visiting Boat’.

Aasmund Drolsum’s King 40 took IRC ‘C’ of the Eurocard Round Gotland Race Scandinavia’s premier event and one of the world’s largest Offshore Races with over 300 entries. Filling the podium both on the water and corrected time for 363 mile course were two Landmark 43’s.

Ray Roberts' unstoppable DK46 Quantum Racing team have won their second Kings Cup in a DK 46, fighting off strong competition in the champagne sailing conditions of Phuket. This win makes for an impressive set of Kings Cup results for both owner and design and adds to the unmatched record which led to Ray and Quantum Racing being crowned Asia Yachting 2007-08 Skipper and Yacht of the Year.

David Dwyer's IRC 39 was named the joint Irish Boat of the Year by ICRA, along with ‘Rosie'. In 2008 Mariners Cove won both the Irish IRC Championships and Class 1 at Cork Week, as well as a strong second in the Scottish Series.

Paul Buchholz's DK 46 04 continued her offshore dominance by winning the six race Ocean Racing Club of Victoria Winter Series by a commanding 15 points in IRC. Her results in the AMS division also meant she took out top honours in that class as well, making eXtasea the outstanding boat of the series.

M.A.T. 12 03 triumphed again at Shop&Miles Turgutreis Cup with a perfect score of five first places in five races against the most competitive fleet in Turkey. With this win M.A.T. 12 hull 03 sailed by the Toka Racing Team has scored 28 first places in a seven months racing season.

helmed by owner Tony Buckingham swept to victory in the IRC 2 class of the Copa Del Rey, Spains most prestigious event held every year in Palma. In ideal conditions Ngoni looked strong all week with 5 firsts and three seconds in the 10 race series, making the final outcome clear with a day to spare.

King 40 02 took Block Island Race Week 2008 with a 1, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1 for a win on less than half the points of the second placed finisher. Summit Yachts partner Barry Carroll described the performance: “There wasn't any condition where we felt we weren't the fastest boat on the course vs IRC rating, often we were the fastest boat on the course.”

M.A.T. 12 03 sailed by Alp and Cem Somer of builder M.A.T. won the Naviga Trophy, the second major Istanbul based event this year. This result reinforces the dominance of the MAT 12 in the competitive Turkish IRC fleet.

King 40 01 owned by Eamonn Rohan won the Jackdraw Trophy at the UK IRC National Championships, with a very strong performance in the light/medium event.

the Newport RI-based King 40 02 owned by Charlie Milligan, Allan Stern, and Tom Roche won the 154th New York Yacht Club Annual Regatta. This was a convincing victory under IRC with a 1,1,4,2 to win by 5 points in a class containing competitive J122's and X41's, as well as a resounding exhibition of speed on the water, finishing boat-for-boat ahead of all 14 Swan 42's which shared the start for the Around the Island race.

Ray Roberts DK 46 07 Quantum Racing won the final race and with it the 2008 Koh Samui Regatta from a strong fleet of Asia's finest IRC racers. Ray and his talented crew battled through a light and shifty event to finish strongly in the better breeze of the final day. Roberts and Quantum Racing had already been awarded Asia Yachting's Skipper and Yacht of the Year.

The eponymous M.A.T. 12 03 sailed by a team assembled by Alp and Cem Somer of builder M.A.T. sailed to a stunning victory on the historic waters of the Bosphorus in the Turkish sailing worlds most high profile event the Bosphorus Cup. With racing taking place against the backdrop of Istanbul's dramatic skyline including the famed Blue Mosque, the M.A.T. 12 triumphed over a strong fleet.

David Dwyer's IRC 39 won the Saab IRC Irish National Championships this weekend from what may be the most competitive field of IRC 40'ers assembled anywhere this year, in a class comprised mainly of Commodores Cup contenders both custom and production. Her victory in the generally light and medium conditions which dominated the Howth YC run event adds the Irish IRC title to her 2006 UK IRC title.

offshore Nick and Anne Haigh's DK 46 10 won Class 0 of the RORC De Guingand Bowl containing all three of the UK Commodores Cup teams big boats, winning by almost an hour on corrected time.

DK 46 10 won the four race Clarkson Cup with a perfect score of four firsts in the Royal Southampton run event in the Solent.

Paul Buchholz's DK 46 04 won both line honours and on IRC the 100th Anniversary Rudder Cup from Melbourne to Launceston in Tasmania, the sixth oldest trophy in yacht racing. This result along with another 2 firsts and a second in offshore events won them the Ocean Racing Club of Victoria 2007 /2008 championship.

M.A.T. 12 03 has won the Bayk Winter Series Races with a perfect score of fifteen firsts spread over seven weekends this spring, with comfortable margins over a large fleet of competitors in conditions ranging from 5 to 25 knots. Hull 3 "MAT 12" secured her first win on the water as well as on handicap just two weeks after her launch.

Jon Sanders' MAT 12 02 continued her strong JOG performances with a 5 hour corrected time win in the light/medium Cherbourg to Cowes race.

Nick and Anne Haigh's DK 46 10 won the Raymarine Warsash Spring Series 2008 IRC Big Boat class comprising the most competitive IRC boats in the UK. The 11 race series spread over 2 weekends in the Solent is the traditional season opener in this Commodores Cup year.

King 40 01 won her class at a very windy and short Red Funnel Regatta in Cowes. Just a week after her launch she has extraordinary upwind pace in particular which the Blondie team used to good effect.

DK 46 11 has won Class 3 of the Puerto Vallarta race run under ORR. Owner Andy Rasdal enthused: "The boat showed her great all-around athleticism as we had condtions ranging from 2 kts to 36 kts of breeze and every imaginable angle of sail."

DK 46 07 triumphed again at the 2008 Singapore Straits Regatta, They also took home the annual Sir Thomas Lipton Perpetual trophy which is awarded to the yacht which cumulatively places best at the Raja Muda, King's Cup and Singapore Straits regattas, reflecting the dominance of this team on the Asian circuit.

DK 46 07 sailed by perhaps the most consistent winner on the Asian circuit Ray Roberts and crew including Steve McConaghy have won the Royal Langkawi International Regatta 2008 for the third time in a row. They triumphed over one of the best fleets assembled for some time, including a pair of new custom IRC designs.

DK 46 03 ex-Fidessa Fastwave celebrated her first season in the Mediterranean by winning Greek IRC Yacht of the Year. They won the title with a month to spare, reinforcing the growing popularity of IRC in Greece.

DK 46 07 sailed by Ray Roberts and his experienced team have won the 18th Annual Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta, fighting back from a difficult first result to triumph over the early leaders and reigning champions Nick Burns and Fred Kinmonth on the Mills 51 Mandrake in second and the DK 46 Janda Baik in third. This was a sweep of podium places in the popular event mixing passage and inshore races.

DK 46 07 won the China Cup International Regatta, the first ever big boat regatta to be held in mainland China. This victory in a history making regatta opens up the future for sailing in China, and highlights the expansion of IRC worldwide.

DK 46 04 won dramatically again in her second offshore race under both IRC and PHS. She won the Melbourne to Stanley Race by over half an hour under IRC from the very competitive 34 boat fleet which included the canting keel supermaxi Wild Thing, a Cookson 50, Rogers 46, TP52 Cougar, Farr 52.

MAT 12 02 owned by Jon Sanders racing in the JOG series won the Marlow Salver for her Class and Overall win in the Cowes-Poole race, the Hamble Estate Agency Trophy for the Class and Overall win in the St.Malo/Dinard Race, and the Lewmar trophy for a 27 minute Class and Overall win in the Cowes-Cherbourg Race, their inaugural results in the first MAT 12 in the UK.

DK 46 09 owned by Tom Ebert, has won the first ever official IRC event held in the Baltic at Flensburg Week. One of two German DK46's she triumphed against larger yachts like the Elliot 52 Outsider and the RP 57 Scho-Ka-Kola.

DK 46 04 now owned by Paul Buchholz in Geelong triumphed in her first outing under both IRC and PHS. She won the Quesenscliff to Flinders Race with a 17 minute lead under IRC over the second place TP52 Cougar (ex-Rush) in a 53 boat fleet.

went straight to Cowes Week and scored nothing but 1's and 2's to win the 43 boat Class 7 with a day to spare, with half the points of the second place finisher. The remarkable success of this half-tonner continues.

the 1980 Half Tonner owned by Nigel Biggs and Tino Hyland made over with a new non-overlapping rig and a foils package completed a clean sweep with their ninth win on Saturday to underline their total dominance of the Ecover Half Ton Classics Cup sailed on Dublin Bay, with a 30 point margin over the second placed finisher.

the Mills Design IRC 40 owned by Tim Costello swept the 2007 French IRC Championships at Deauville International Week with straight firsts in the eight race series, discarding a first to take the event with straight bullets – a replay of her 2006 sweep of the UK IRC National Championships.

owned by Peter Morton won the 2007 Coutts Quarter Ton Cup with a Mills Design rig and keel. Out of nine races for the event, only one was won by a boat which had not worked on their performance with Mills Design.

DK 46 04 Robert Youngjohns' DK46 Zephyra won the San Diego Yacht Club 2007 Yachting Cup for the second year running. The San Francisco based Zephyra turned in a consistent set of results to take a tough Big Boat class which included her near-sistership Valkyrie.

DK 46 08 took the 2007 Audi Port Philip IRC Championship by a clear 5 point margin to reinforce her position in the competitive Melbourne fleet.

DK 46 11 won Class 3 of the 800-mile 2007 Newport-Cabo Race and claimed 3rd overall. Valkyrie's performance in a race where thrilling high wind stretches were mixed amongst many light air sections was enough for a 3 hour corrected time win over the 17 boat class.

Rob Hanna's DK 46 08 Shogun emerged as Victoria's top handicap chance for this year's Sydney-Hobart after it blitzed the Grand Prix IRC fleet on Port Phillip to easily win the Lipton Regatta run by the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria. According to the crew: “Shogun's success was based on a very competitive design in these conditions along with good starts and sound tactics and crew work."

The first MAT 12 IRC Cruiser/Racer has won Turkeys most important IRC event, the 17th Marmaris International Race Week. This win in her inaugural event is a milestone for the MAT 12 design on its first outing, for the builders MAT, and for Mills Design for whom this success is only the beginning of a number of projects underway in the region.

DK 46 07 won the Hahn Premium Hamilton Island Race Week IRC Racing trophy, one of Australia's premier events attracting more than 150 of the top yachts to the beautiful island resort. With a very competitive class including 3 Cookson 50's and 2 R/P IRC 46's this was another significant result for Ray Roberts' successful Sydney team.

won Class 2 of Cowes Week in style with a 5 minute win in the very light conditions of the final day that complimented her success over the course of a testing and breezy week.

won the historic Trafalgar and Carlsberg Cups from a 40 boat fleet in light and shifty conditions on the Solent. The Royal Thames Trafalgar Cup from 1802 is the oldest trophy in yacht racing, and perhaps in any sport.

won Class 0 and the RORC IRC Championship Trophy for Best Overall Performance at the IRC National Championships. Her remarkable string of seven firsts to dominate this class in a Commodores Cup year with a perfect scoreline is the ultimate accolade.

DK 46 03 won the Big Boat Series of the Warsash Spring Series, topping a 17 boat fleet of the best boats in the Solent.

DK 46 04 owned and driven by Robert Youngjohns won their class in the 2006 Yachting Cup May 5 - 7 at the San Diego Yacht Club with 5 firsts to take the largest handicap class with the lowest cumulative score in the event.

DK 46 02 and Ray Roberts continued their sweep of Australasian events by winning the Langkawi Regatta with four bullets on the chartered Drumstick. In second place was a Farr 520 with a Mills Design deck and layout.

opened 2006 by dominating the 40 strong Scotchmans Hill Fleet in Skandia Geelong Week, Australias largest event. They sailed consistently to score 1,3,1,1,2 for a tally of 8 points, half that of second place finisher, 60' canting keeler Wild Joe. This means Roberts in a DK 46 has won the last three major inshore events in Asia and Australia and proven that a competitive fixed keel IRC design can beat larger canting keelers sailing in the same class. Quantum Racing's other recent victories include the Phuket Kings Cup, the Rolex Trophy in Sydney, and the Rolex Challenge Team Racing Series as the Australian Team with Loki. DK 46 07 was top boat at the Rolex Trophy Rating Series held in Sydney harbour. Ray Roberts triumphed in this event with six bullets and a 2nd, fresh from his Kings Cup win the week before.

DK 46 02 won the 19th Phuket Kings Cup, chartered by Ray Roberts, with 4 firsts in the 7 race series dominated by light airs. Roberts DK 46 Quantum Racing is being prepared for the Rolex Sydney Hobart Race.

DK 46 04 owned by Robert Youngjohns was victorious in a challenging Rolex Big Boat Series in San Francisco, also with 4 1sts in a typically windy 7 race series.

our IRC 37 Racer/Cruiser owned by Rob Boulter won the Rolex Fastnet IRC Class 0, in the process beating all of the Maxi Super 0 class. In a testing light airs race they opened up a 90 minute corrected time lead over the next finisher.

won Skandia Cowes Week Class 1 overall with a day to spare, and owner Tim Costello drove her to another bullet on the final day to complete the 8 race series in style. By winning the Delta Trophy for Class 1 at Cowes Tiamat triumphed over probably the most competitive IRC class in the event with over 30 entries.

Tim Costello's IRC 40 won the Bell Lawrie Scottish Series both in Class and Overall. In a series which included wins in every condition from flat calm to 35kn this 1 week old design was fast out of the box.

DK46 03 won the Assuage, Jazz, and Serendip Trophies for top points scorer in the RORC Offshore Season with wins in the DeGuingand Bowl and the Ouistreham Race, as well as in the Spring Series and Class 0 in the J P Morgan Round the Island race along with DK46 06 Shockwave which came second, beating entries such as Maximus, Enigma, and Aera.

our IRC 51' owned by Nick Burns and Fred Kinmonth won the Presidents Cup in the Philippines and then returned to win the eight race Typhoon Series in Hong Kong.
