opened 2006 by dominating the 40 strong Scotchmans Hill Fleet in Skandia Geelong Week, Australias largest event. They sailed consistently to score 1,3,1,1,2 for a tally of 8 points, half that of second place finisher, 60' canting keeler Wild Joe. This means Roberts in a DK 46 has won the last three major inshore events in Asia and Australia and proven that a competitive fixed keel IRC design can beat larger canting keelers sailing in the same class. Quantum Racing's other recent victories include the Phuket Kings Cup, the Rolex Trophy in Sydney, and the Rolex Challenge Team Racing Series as the Australian Team with Loki. Here is a great image by Andrea Francolini of Quantum Racing powering away from the fleet on Port Philip Bay.
